Designation - Analyst

Job Location - Greater Noida

We at Coforge$ are hiring AS400 Administrators with the following skill set:

- Experience in iSeries, AS400 System Administration environment with work

management, user management, journal management and performance management
- Proven experience in IBM I, OS/400 - V6R1, V7R1, V7R2, V7R3 and Hardware Power 7, 8, 9, 10 systems
- Demonstrable skills in iBMi native job scheduler & Advanced Job Scheduler, iSeries Navigator, IBMi Access Client Solution
- Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS)
- Experience required in Mimix High Availability, IBM Power HA for i, Clustering, and iASP
- Proven experience in providing support for LPP, PTFs
- Experience in Server migrations
- Restoration of file/library/object/source member
- Analyze performance issues while providing technical consultation and inquiries from the other IT technical teams
- Checking System Operator Messages in QSYSOPR message queue and problem log for SRC code
- Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes, SAL PAL HMC
- Handling hardware related issues (Tape Library, Hardware management console, disk failure etc) backup issues, distribution queue issues
- Monitoring system usage (CPU, Memory, Disk) and escalating
- Creation of AS400 LAPR build
- Perform system build using iHOSTing. Virtual disk creation, network server description
- Support for new product installation and evaluation as needed
- Support on HA tools such as: Mimix, icluster, OMS/ODS.
- Maintenance activity in the AS400 servers to replace any H/W or upgrade activity.
- Support Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled
- Assume personal responsibility for resolving problems in most effective way possible within SLA reaching root cause and preventing problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field or MCA.
- Good communication skills
- Person should be to work from office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: From ₹1,000,000.00 per year
