**Key Responsibility & accountability**
1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Provide information and answer inquiries about hospital services, policies, and procedures.
3. Schedule appointments, handle phone calls, and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
4. Maintain a neat and organized reception area, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.
5. Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance coverage, and medical history.
6. Enter patient data accurately into the hospital's electronic health record (EHR) system.
7. Assist patients in completing necessary forms and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
8. Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with various departments to ensure availability and smooth scheduling.
10. Follow up with patients to reschedule missed appointments and accommodate urgent requests.
11. Verify insurance coverage and co-payments for patient visits.
12. Provide patients with accurate cost estimates for services and explain billing procedures.
13. Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain financial records in accordance with hospital policies.
14. Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
15. Retrieve and file medical records, test results, and other documentation as needed.
16. Assist in the digitization and transition to electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
17. Liaise with other hospital departments, such as nursing, pharmacy, and laboratory, to facilitate smooth patient care and information flow.
18. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to relay messages, schedule appointments, and address inquiries or concerns.
19. Collaborate with the front office team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
20. Handle challenging situations, such as patient complaints or emergencies, with professionalism and empathy.
21. Resolve conflicts or escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor or department for resolution.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
