Store Keeper

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive and inspect all deliveries for accuracy and quality, ensuring items match order specifications.
- Store items in proper conditions to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, both manually and digitally, for easy tracking and auditing.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits to ensure proper stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- **Stock Control**:

- Monitor inventory levels for both food and non-food items (cleaning supplies, packaging, etc.), placing orders as needed.
- Ensure proper rotation of stock, following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles, to prevent spoilage and waste.
- Keep track of stock usage patterns and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure optimal levels of ingredients and supplies are maintained.
- **Receiving and Documentation**:

- Verify quantities and conditions of all incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
- Ensure proper documentation for all received goods, including invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
- Notify the appropriate departments of any discrepancies, damaged items, or items not delivered.
- **Waste Management**:

- Keep detailed records of food waste, expired items, and damaged goods.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to minimize food waste by ensuring efficient use of ingredients.
- Ensure proper disposal of expired or unusable stock in line with health and safety regulations.
- **Organization and Storage**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom and kitchen storage areas.
- Ensure proper labeling of all items and ensure that stock is easy to locate.
- Regularly inspect storage areas for cleanliness and hygiene, addressing any issues immediately.
- **Coordination with Kitchen and Restaurant Staff**:

- Work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to anticipate stock requirements based on menu planning and special events.
- Communicate any shortages or issues to the kitchen and front-of-house teams in a timely manner.
- Assist in sourcing and procuring specialty items as requested by the kitchen team.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all goods are stored according to safety and health regulations (temperature, cleanliness, pest control, etc.).
- Maintain hygiene standards in line with local health and safety laws, ensuring the storage areas remain free of contamination.
- Ensure all food items are labeled with expiry dates and adhere to stock rotation practices.
- **Record Keeping & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements (inbound, usage, returns, and wastage).
- Report low stock levels, order histories, and wastage patterns to the Restaurant Manager or Head Chef.
- Assist with monthly or quarterly stocktaking and audits as required by management.
- **Vendor Relations**:

- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to supply chain or product quality.
- Review supplier contracts and pricing to ensure competitive and cost-effective purchases.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
