**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE** In House Paralegal**with Mammoet India

Working Location**: Mumbai, India**

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**Review, and file legal documents such as board resolutions, and Key corporate documents- Assist Legal counsel with the board meetings, shareholder meetings, and other corporate events.- Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.- Communicate with internal stakeholders, and external parties involved in legal matters.- Manage and coordinate schedules, appointments, and deadlines for the legal team.- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents.- Stay updated on changes in corporate secretarial framework with respect corporation's operations in various jurisdictions in Middle east and Asia Pacific region.- Provide corporate secretarial support, including preparing board meeting agendas, minutes, and resolutions with notarisation/ Apostille and ministry/ embassy attestation as required.- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and maintain statutory records.- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, regulators, liquidators and shareholders.- Support the legal team in managing corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**Qualified in Paralegal Studies/ Corporate secretarial or a related field.- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in an in-house legal department or corporate environment.- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.- Experience in corporate secretarial functions and knowledge of corporate governance.- Familiarity with corporate law and regulatory compliance in a multinational context.
