We are looking for an IP SME to join our prep & pros services team preferably in Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work on patent illustration services. The team currently includes several members who report to the Senior Manager. We have a great skill set in patent illustration field and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in efficiently preparing patent drawings using AutoCAD, MS Visio, and Photoshop.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- At least 1 year of experience in the patent illustration field
- Proven experience in drawing tools such as AutoCAD and MS Visio to prepare patent drawings in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by USPTO, EPO, PCT/WIPO, or other global patent offices. Knowledge of Photoshop and other drawing tools would be an added benefit.
- Polytechnic/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other related engineering discipline.

- Strong visualization and artistic skills to develop various views of the drawings based on instructions from clients and drafting teams
- Good writing and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

What will you be doing in this role?
- Preparing patent illustrations using software tools including AutoCAD and Visio in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by USPTO, EPO, PCT/WIPO, or other Patent Offices.
- Preparing various views like perspective views and side views of an article to illustrate various design attributes of an article for filing a design patent in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the patent offices
- Working in collaboration with drafting teams and developing sectional views, exploded views, and various views as desired by the drafters based on a given set of specifications.
- Working on block diagrams, flow charts and diagrammatic views based on written instructions from clients and drafting teams.
- Delivering the drawings efficiently, timely and with the desired quality.
- Willingness to work extended time hours to fulfil client requirements, as and when required.

About the Team

Hours of Work

Looking for full-time employee who can work for a minimum 8 hours in a day, typically from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the position may occasionally require the illustrator to work extended hours over weekdays or weekends to meet surges in client demand, and to meet client deadlines.
