**Job Summary**:
An Architectural Draughtsman is responsible for producing precise and comprehensive technical drawings, blueprints, and plans that align with architectural designs and project requirements. They collaborate closely with architects, designers, and other professionals to translate creative concepts into practical and executable drawings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drafting and Design: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, to create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, interior designers, and other team members to understand project objectives, design concepts, and client requirements.
- Site Surveys: Conduct site visits and surveys to gather accurate measurements, data, and information required for drafting and design.
- Material Specifications: Assist in specifying materials and finishes to be used in architectural projects and ensure their accurate representation in drawings.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all drawings and plans adhere to local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Revision and Modification: Update drawings and plans as needed to reflect changes in project scope, design, or client feedback.
- Documentation: Maintain a well-organized record of all drawings and revisions, making sure they are easily accessible to the project team.
- Quality Control: Review drawings for precision, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
- Technology Proficiency: Stay current with the latest CAD software and design trends to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and contractors to ensure design intent is understood and to address any design-related issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Typically, a diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, architectural technology, or a related field is required.
- CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools, is essential.
