**Responsibilities**:

- ** System Configuration and Implementation**:
This involves setting up and configuring SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) to manage direct material flow, including defining workflows, user roles, and integration with other systems.
- ** Direct Material Sourcing and Procurement**:
Participating in the sourcing process for direct materials, potentially using SAP Ariba Sourcing, and managing the resulting purchase orders and contracts.
- ** Supplier Collaboration**:
Working with suppliers through Ariba Network to facilitate communication, confirm orders, manage changes, and ensure timely delivery.
- ** Monitoring Material Flow**:
Tracking the movement of direct materials from suppliers to the production site, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying potential disruptions or delays.
- ** Issue Resolution**:
Addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during the direct material flow process, such as delivery delays, quality problems, or invoicing discrepancies.
- ** Reporting and Analysis**:
Generating reports on direct material flow, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insights to stakeholders.
- ** Compliance**:
Ensuring that all activities related to direct material flow comply with relevant regulations and company policies, potentially including those related to quality, safety, and security.
- ** Integration with other systems**:
Integrating SAP Ariba with other systems like SAP S/4HANA to ensure seamless data exchange and process execution.

Skills and Experience:

- ** SAP Ariba Expertise**:
Deep understanding of SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) and potentially other modules like SAP Ariba Sourcing.
- ** Supply Chain Knowledge**:
Familiarity with supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- ** Direct Material Experience**:
Experience working with direct materials, understanding their unique requirements and challenges.
- ** Data Analysis**:
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making.
- ** Communication and Collaboration**:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- ** Problem-solving**:
Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the direct material flow process.
- ** SAP S/4HANA knowledge**:
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with Ariba.
