Job Description
- The Duck Creek Architect will be responsible to provide technical leadership on end-to-end development & delivery of new insurance products & capabilities enabling new business opportunities and operational efficiencies on Duck Creek Policy Underwriting & Admin Platform utilizing SAFe Agile. This role is also responsible for all integrations and interfaces upstream as well as downstream supporting business objectives of Small Business division and other divisions of Affine.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for helping to maintain our commercial policy administration system - Duck Creek
- Provide support for design and implementation of policy administration system enhancements, and lead platform upgrades and other technical initiatives.
- Drive resolution and creative solutions of reported system problems and program bugs
- Analyze current system environments and infrastructure to develop implementation plans and verification procedures
- Assist in the defining of standardized and best practices that appropriately align with business objectives and department workflow
- Complete system testing to confirm business requirements, reliability and efficiency is met
- Be a successful liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure productive partnerships and productivity
- Perform complex troubleshooting and communicate potential solutions
- Prepare and deliver formal presentations on project and status for business and technology leadership.
- Manage and deliver development projects within the allocated budget
- Keep on top of Duck Creek Technology Product Roadmap and the industry trends including Digital Transformation, InsureTech, AI/Machine Learning etc

**Job Requirement**

**Primary Skills**:

- Strong facilitation experience for conducting requirements gathering and stakeholder agreement meetings
- Familiar with Joint Application Design (JAD) session, prototyping, Conference Room Pilot (CRP), and similar approaches and principles
- Familiar with business process design concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Duck Creek Policy or Billing Certification

**Experience**:

- Strong understanding of P&C industry and solutions with 10+ years’ experience in defining architecture and design on Duck Creek suite - both SaaS and on-premise
- Must have technical knowledge of overall Duck Creek suite including Policy, Billing ,Insights and distribution management to lead integration
- Must have detailed understanding on Duck Creek Architecture, Data Model, UI design, processes and events
- Knowledge of Duck Creek product including architecture, data model, components, modules and extensions.
- Experience in configuring Duck Creek product for Commercial Auto lines is preferable
- Experience in integrating Duck Creek product with in-house systems and third-party systems
- Experience in configuring Duck Creek is SaaS mode is mandatory
- Experience upgrading Duck Creek preferably 7.x - 8.x Upgrade

**Shift Timing**: 13:00 PM - 21:30 PM (Monday thru Friday)
