Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing the data architecture and infrastructure of our website. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of data, ensuring its integrity, security, and availability. With your deep understanding of data modeling, database design, and E-commerce systems, you will help shape our data strategy and support our business goals.

**Responsibilities**:
Design and develop the overall data architecture for our E-commerce website, including data models, schemas, and database systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies, tools, and frameworks to support the scalability, performance, and reliability needs of our E-commerce platform.

Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing mechanisms to ensure efficient data management and enhance system performance.

Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain data quality, security, and compliance.

Lead data modeling efforts, ensuring logical and physical designs align with business needs and provide flexibility for future growth.

Develop and maintain data integration strategies, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data pipelines, and data synchronization mechanisms.

Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper implementation of database structures, query optimization, and data validation mechanisms.

Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimization strategies.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data management, E-commerce systems, and data architecture.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Architect, preferably in the E-commerce industry.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with database design, data modeling, and schema development.

Proficiency in SQL and expertise in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Experience with E-commerce platforms and understanding of their data requirements and challenges.

Familiarity with data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data synchronization tools.

Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize data structures and query performance.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and emerging trends in data architecture and management.

**Salary**: ₹608,053.93 - ₹2,020,829.84 per year
