**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Engagements**
- Proactively engages with and reaches out to customer technical decision makers and influencers. Utilizes information on customer business, industry, needs, competitive landscape and key priorities to support customer's digital transformation.
- Leads and ensures technical wins for core and adjacent technologies by leading technical discussions with customers.
- Proactively engages product and support teams (e.g., engineering) to remediate blockers by conveying impact.

**Architecture Design and Deployment**
- Architecture Design and Deployment - Run Architectural Design Session(s) to build plans for implementing solutions which align to customer business goals and technical environments.
- Drives pilots, proof of concept (POC), and value (e.g., optimizing solutions and costs) and moves the customer forward from pilots to productive deployments by rooting pilots in business impact.
- Identifies, escalates, and works to resolve technical blockers (e.g., changing configurations, sample coding) to accelerate architecture implementations, and routes non-technical issues for removal by appropriate party.

**Driving Customer Success**
- Customer Usage - Conduct analyses into what customers are using versus needs. Leverages insights to provide guidance and recommendations to customers; drives, retains, and optimizes customer consumption
- Trusted Advisor - Leverage best practices to guide customer strategy and future growth for Microsoft by cultivating customer affinity with Microsoft programs/solutions that drive impact for the customer.
- Drives new workloads by actively identifying new engagements. Brings insights to drive success of Microsoft cloud solutions by taking ownership of milestones within engagements.

**Technical Leadership**
- Provides thought leadership by acting as role model for the architect community and consistently sharing knowledge to increase the functional or technical skills and expertise of peers in ways that impact career goals and business outcomes.
- Acts as a mentor for their technology area. Shares best practices internally on community calls and drives recognition of Microsoft Cloud solutions through presentations and engagements with external audiences
- Conducts group training or one-to-many events (e.g., workshops, Webinars) to present and educate customers and colleagues on the capabilities and benefits across Microsoft solutions/products.

**Qualifications**:
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**:

- ** Bachelor's Degree** in Computer Science or related field
- Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects.

Technical:

- Extensive technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
- Extensive technical experience with cloud-native app hosting through software design, development, deployment, and app refactoring/migrations.
- Familiarity with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies Azure functions and logic apps, container orchestration Kubernetes.

Certification:

- Required one or more of - AZ-305, SC-100, AZ-500, SC-300
- Preferred
- AWS certified Solution Architect Professional, AWS certified Advanced Networking
- CKA, CKAD certification
