**Introduction**:
The person is responsible for undertaking Automation and Manual test activities across various phases of testing.
- To own technical excellence aspects of design, development and customisation for the Test Automation framework to suite the needs of various platforms in portfolio.
- Act as guardian for the technical assets and ensure technical roadmap is supported through the right design decisions in the portfolio.
- The role must oversee and account for developer deliverables to meet acceptance criterion of business requirements written as per Agile BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) framework
- Is capable of effective stakeholder management, supporting business for making informed decisions based on test results, possess good analytical skills.
- Create Test ware - estimates, scenarios, cases, data for both automated and manual tests covering functional and non-functional scenarios. Execute Test and collate evidence. Defect reporting and tracking. Create and execute plan to increase the level of automated tests available.
- Proven experience in defining / reengineering automation tools and frameworks (Web & Mobile).
- Strong Experience of the following:

- Testing across multiple browsers
- Automated test data creation
- REST Client
- SOAP UI
- Browser Stack or similar
- Cucumber
- JQuery, JSON, XML
- Selenium
- Jira
- Confluence
- Bitbucket
- .

**What will you be doing?**

This section should include:

- **Key specific accountabilities.**
- Ability to develop E2E test plans and test scripts
- Develop Strategy / approach based on the business requirements
- Actively engage in providing solutions (Technical/Functional) issues
- Take steps to ensure that all automation development is done in line with Quality first approach by engaging in reviews
- Ensure DevOps tools and practises are followed by the teams.
- Create and maintaining high quality documentation of technical assets in th portfolio.
- Work as hands on Individual contributor.
- Is capable of giving walkthrough of the solution / approach to the stakeholders
- Learns new tools and technique to enable appropriate automation in the testing pyramid for example to prove unit tests are testing the code conditions.
- Ensuring defects can be fixed by providing sufficient support to the developers in investigating and resolving the defects.
- Assist in the resolution of live incidents and system problems as and when required.
- Identify own development needs and proactively drive development of own capability.
- Conform to established good practice and any appropriate test automation standards as used for Multi-Channel Applications within Barclays UK

**What skill we required?**
- ITIL - Foundation
- Experience in Automation Testing tools
- Knowledge of DEVOPS & CI/CD integrations
- Experience in running a project through STLC with a team
- Identify project risks and work towards mitigating them.
- Escalate where appropriate to the LM or the PM
- Overall experience of 5 to 7
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cards and Banking domain
