Job Summary: EDEN CRITICAL CARE HOSPITAL, a prestigious NABH accredited Super Specialty Hospital in Chandigarh, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and reliable laboratory services to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. **Responsibilities**:

- Collecting and receiving patient samples, ensuring proper labeling, and maintaining accurate records.
- Performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, such as hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and immunology, using sophisticated equipment and instruments.
- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintaining strict adherence to quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Analyzing and interpreting test results, and preparing detailed reports for healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, ensuring their proper functionality and performing routine maintenance as required.
- Assisting in inventory management, including stock monitoring, ordering supplies, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Collaborating with the medical team and other healthcare professionals to discuss and analyze test results, contributing to the overall patient care plan.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies through continuous professional development.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Prior experience as a Lab Technician in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in performing various laboratory tests and procedures, including sample preparation and analysis.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and basic computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control practices.
- Valid certification or license (if applicable) is desirable.

**Salary**: The salary for this position is in the range of ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 per month.
