Position Overview: As an Account Administrator in a transport company, your primary responsibility will be to support the financial and administrative functions of the company's accounts department. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely processing of financial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work with numbers will be critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping:Maintain and update accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, receipts, and general ledger entries.
Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Prepare and process financial documents, such as expense reports, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:Manage accounts payable activities, including reviewing and verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and scheduling payments.
Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Financial Reporting:Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Generate regular financial reports, including aging reports, cash flow statements, and profitability analysis.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Client and Vendor Relations:Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
Coordinate with vendors regarding billing and payment matters, resolving any issues or disputes.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Administrative Support:Provide general administrative support to the accounts department, such as filing, data entry, and document management.
Assist in the preparation of financial documents for audits and regulatory compliance.
Stay updated on industry regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.
- Proficient in accounting software and financial management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

**Salary**: From ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
