The role requires the candidate use sophisticated business and data analytical methods to analyse and define requirements and then manage the end-to-end execution process. This role involves liaising with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis to ensure the timely delivery of an appropriate output in accordance with each of the project deadlines. This role will support the delivery of key Banking business analytics as part of the Banking Data Insights function. The role will require the candidate to understand consider and exercise a diverse range of internal and external policies procedures and practices within Investment Banking and across Capital Market M&A Advisory and Global Finance Risk Solution product lines. Main duties and responsibilities: ? Analysis of Data Insight Products supporting client offerings across a broad set of products operations supporting processes and systems ? Providing clear and appropriate communications to internal customer colleagues and stakeholders during the whole project lifecycle ? Understand the Investment Banking operational principles and processes thus ensuring the correct analysis is completed and accurate recommendations presented ? Be subject matter expert on assigned projects and the end-to-end project lifecycle ? Proactive in identifying new data product opportunities and recommend new workflow or tool to bridge perceived gaps. ? Provide solutions which will allow for the continual improvement of processes practices and where necessary provide clear recommendations and reasoning ? Contribute to the development of team members? understanding of project approaches their challenges and complexities as well as the surrounding business impacts and dependencies ? Maitaining project asrtifacts and documentations daily to reflect the latest changes and staying compliant to regulatary requirement. ? Understand the appropriate control frameworks structures and processes ensuring these are fully adhered to. Ensure that mitigating and performance improvement actions are in place where necessary and are clearly understood Basic Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience ? Ongoing hands-on experience of simple coding(SQL Python R). ? Data Analysis: ability to interpret and navigate a large database schema. ? SQL Skills: ability to prepare and execute moderately-complex SQL. ? Working knowledge of documentation tool such as Sharepoint or Confluence. ? Excelent working knowledge of Excel (lookups/pivot) and proficient with latest generation Excel tools such as Power Query. ? Previous experience in a financial institution including internship and capstone projects ? Curious Innovative and strong analytical problem solver Preferred Qualifications: ? A good understanding of Project Management methods disciplines and project lifecycles ? Previous experience of Data visualization software development (Business Object Tableau or QlikView) ? Exposure to corporate finance or enterprise risk management and familiar with the related data points and KPIs
