**Solution Architect - Office 365**

**Position Overview**:
The Solution Architect is responsible for the delivery of successful Microsoft 365 (M365) & Infrastructure projects for global clients. The position will encompass leading projects of varying sizes. Assisting with pre-sales responsibilities as needed. Work closely with our Sales Teams to engage clients and deliver services. The position will also deliver workshops to clients and serve as mentor to other team members.

**Department Overview**:
The Netrix Modern Data Center Team features a rich group of services that include:

- VMware and Hyper-V: Design, installation and support

Modern Data Center Technologies Include:

- Active Directory
- AD Connect :Password Hash Sync, Pass-through Authentication, ADFS, other Federation Providers
- Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Azure AD, Defender for Office 365
- Exchange
- VMWare
- Veeam
- Storage Systems

**Responsibilities**:
**Common duties include**:

- Design and implementation of large scale Microsoft 365 migrations
- Ensure projects are delivered to customer satisfaction
- Delivery of successful Tenant to Tenant migrations
- Building expertise around new Microsoft 365 solutions
- Maintain a billable utilization target
- Lead workshops on Microsoft and other vendor solutions
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, emerging trends and related technology.
- Able to articulate pros & cons of design/architecture decision across a wide spectrum of factors - e.g. latency, storage, startup/shutdown, network, end user experience, etc.
- Exchange Server expertise a plus for M365 migrations
- 3rd party migration tools from Quest, BitTitan and AvePoint experience a plus
- Microsoft FastTrack experience as an architect and deployment engineer is a plus
- Continue to work to improve best practices fo the engineering organization

**Functional Skills Required**:
Experience presenting solutions to IT and other stakeholders.
- Ability to solve complex problems and present the problems and their resolution in a clear and concise fashion.
- Communicate deadlines and set expectations
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) migration experience
- VMware experience is a plus
- Hyper-V experience is a plus
- Veeam experience is a plus
- Functional PowerShell skills

**Additional general skills needed for success**:

- 3-5 years of experience in a technical consulting role
- Good business communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently with mínimal oversight
- Ability to present in front of clients and peers
- Experience leading a team through complex migrations from design to execution
- Ability and willingness to adapt to changing business conditions
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the work
- Conscientious with an internal and external customer centric mentality
- Mentor other team members
