AS-IN-Vadodara **Job Description and Qualifications** **I. ** To deliver safe, error-free, fit for purpose general civil and underground (UG) services layouts & details to an agreed schedule to meet a pre agreed budget. **II. NATURE AND SCOPE** The job holder is one of the key members of the UG design team having responsibility for the 3D Modeling and producing general civil and underground layout drawings and details. Based on the execution strategy, the job holder will be responsible for general civil and underground elements, 3D Modeling and drafting drawings on projects along with the lead UG designer. **III. DIMENSIONS**: - A general civil & UG designer shall have the responsibility for generating SP3D / Civil 3D model for general civil and underground facilities. - Responsible for supporting junior designers for software and technical queries. - A general civil & UG designer shall have the responsibility for generating layout, schedules and detailed UG drawings using SmartSketch / Civil 3D / ACAD based on project requirements. - Coordination, Interface with other engineering disciplines for 3D modeling and clash resolution - A general civil & UG Designer acts as a technical interface with AP project execution teams for UG designs. The primary purpose is the delivery of safe, error-free, fit for purpose deliverables to an agreed schedule and budget. **IV. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES** - Safety, quality and rigorous adherence to relevant specification and standards for all UG designs. - Accountable for the safety, quality, and engineering scope adherence in accordance with project specifications & standards. - Implementation of quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities. - Responsible for developing SP3D / Civil 3D Modeling and UG layout and detailed drawings for - UG drainage networks, UG pits, site preparation, paving and grading, manhole, catch-basin, duct-bank and valve pit schedule and details, roads and fencing, culverts etc. Incorporate elements of constructability and ease of installation into UG design deliverables. - Material take off from 3D model. - Supporting Jr Designers (Software and technical queries) - Co-ordinate necessary interfaces of general civil & UG activities with other disciplines in 3D model, perform model audits and clash checks at required intervals to produce deliverables of desired quality. - Maintain Business Safety Principals (BSP) targets. **V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** - ITI certified (or equivalent), preferred Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and relevant industry work. B.E. Civil Preferred. - Fully conversant in use of software’s like SP3D, Smart Sketch, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microstation, Smart Plant review, Microsoft word and excel. - Should have good understanding of the underground drainage networks and other infrastructure related works related to industrial plants. - Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills. - Experience in generating 3D model and UG layout and detailed drawings. **Req No.** - 45547BR **Employment Status** - Full Time **Organization** - Global Engrg Mfg Technology & Equipment **Business Sector / Division** - India EPC **Region** - India **Country** - India Designer - General Civil & Underground Drainage | Air Products
