Designation: Finance Assistant WHO Project

Location: New Delhi

**Job Description**:

- Receiving and processing of all invoices, expenses settlement and requests for payment received from vendors and staff.
- Processes payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements, and statements.
- Process and account for travel advances and related expense claims settlement received from staff / State Offices.
- Posts financial data to appropriate accounts head in accounting system, according to instructions.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation Statement.
- Maintain filing systems for accounting documents and vouchers and ensure proper files are maintained to support all transactions processed.
- Ensure issue of TDS Certificate to the vendors / contractors.
- Reconcile advances to staff / state offices and obtain confirmation on monthly basis.
- Assist in audit preparation during internal / statutory / donor audit.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong business management and negotiating skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Work with team and able to contribute to team building.
- Keen analytical ability and the exercise of sound independent judgment are required.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement:

- Graduation in Commerce is required. Professional qualification in finance would be an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience of handling a similar profile including administration, procurement and accounting.
