Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging physical education curriculum aligned with state/district standards
- Instruct students in a variety of sports, fitness and recreational activities
- Coach and lead the varsity track and field team, including organizing practices, meets and team development
- Collaborate with other faculty to integrate physical activity across the curriculum
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in physical education or coaching
- Certification in additional coaching specialties (e.g. strength & conditioning)
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching PE and/or coaching track and field
- Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
- Commitment to promoting health, fitness and sportsmanship
