**What You’ll Do**
As a Food Technologist at Zenvayal, you’ll play a foundational role in:
**R&D and Innovation**:
- Develop new ready-to-cook, fresh, frozen, and value-added products using traditional and modern techniques
- Innovate based on native Indian recipes, local ingredients, and export standards
**Production Setup & Scale-up**:
- Plan and set up pilot and production kitchens/labs
- Coordinate with equipment vendors and oversee manufacturing process design
- Create SOPs for food safety, hygiene, and consistency
**Certifications & Compliance**:
- Own end-to-end processes for FSSAI, HACCP, and export certifications
- Liaise with labs, agencies, and regulatory bodies
- Maintain documentation for audits and quality control
**Collaboration**:
- Work directly with farmers, food scientists, operations, and marketing teams
- Bridge the gap between farm produce and market-ready products
**Who You Are**
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
**Skills & Traits**:
- Passionate about food, tradition, and science
- Hands-on approach with a startup mindset
- Strong sense of ownership and independence
- Eager to experiment, fail fast, and iterate
- Good communication skills in both Tamil & English
- Bonus: Familiarity with native ingredients and South Indian cuisine
