**Strategy & Policy Formulation**
- Ensure effective implementation of Supply chain strategies.
- Prepare policies and SOP for various processes and submit for review and finalisation.
- Prepare Long term and short term Logistics processes, develop various risks associated with Logistics and overall business.

**Logistic Planning & Management**
- Develop monthly logistic plan for all plants basis dispatch inputs received from S&OP team considering plant capacity, current inventory levels, plant variable cost, logistic cost involved and modes of transport for ensuring optimal transport modes, routes or frequency.
- Analyze previous year logistic cost, plant variable cost, offline rail logistic cost, diesel price trends, sales targets depot wise etc and develop logistic budgets for all plants and submit for approval.
- Conduct logistic feasibility study and provide inputs for suitable decision making in setting up plant at new locations.
- Conduct periodic logistic feasibility of all plants basis analysis of various MIS reports to check if the same is viable and recommend suitable actions.
- Conduct analysis on freight cost before finalization and provide inputs for improvement.
- Manage sales return process by ensuring generation of sales return invoices on time and creation of documentation with respect to the same.
- Maintain awareness of railway circulars having an impact on freight cost and provide inputs to relevant stakeholders while reviewing contracts with Concor for cost benefit.
- Monitor on a regular basis various types of cost to arrive at optimum route plan.

**Logistics Optimization and Supply Allocation**
- Work in SAP IBP module for Logistics allocation
- Gap analysis to be identified to run SAP IBP in regard to various master data
- Dispatch plan generation activities
- Deviation tracking against plan vs actual

**Logistics Budget**
- Preparation of yearly logistics Budget (TM1 module)
- Data from SAP IBP to be checked before transferring to TM1 module for yearly Logistics budget preparation.
- Monitor the budget on a regular basis for avoiding any cost impact. In case of any deviations in the logistic budget, recommend suitable actions for corrections to Supply Chain Head and seek sign off on the same. Ensure recommended actions are implemented.
- Cost and other parameters to be reviewed against budget.

**Logistics Cost Management**
- Analysis of freights, Handling and other Logistics expenses and identify scope of Improvements of all Plants/ Depots
- Drive Logistics excellence initiatives to optimize cost
- Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, and annual Logistics cost against Budget and SnOP and identify the deviations

**Adherence to Compliance**
- Ensure compliance to all necessary SOP for the function.
- Front end all audits and ensure that all audits are managed by ensuring all required documents / data / queries are addressed on time.

**Vendor Management**
- Provide inputs on parameters for appointment of transporter and transporter evaluation process to Head Supply Chain.
- Conduct transporter/ CFA evaluation process and take suitable actions.
- Review the vendor performance across the logistics function with the help of various logistic analytics and advise relevant stakeholders to take actions on non-performing vendors.
- Track all contract renewals across the logistic function and drive timely renewals.

**Digitization & SAP**
- Identify the scope for automation/ system improvements for bringing in efficiency and lead the digitisation journey for logistic function.
- Create BRD document, participate in discussion on automation process / system improvements with relevant stakeholders and project manage the same for effective implementation.
- Ensure UAT testing for various automated process or solution and orientation sessions are done across various teams.
- Evaluate automation projects/ system upgrades from a cost-benefit perspective and take necessary actions / course corrections to improvise effectiveness.
- Act as a single point of contact for all SAP related issues across the marketing function and logistic team across all plants and ensure quick resolution in co-ordination with IT and SAP team.
- Ensure SAP training is conducted for all users in the logistic and marketing team across all plants.
- Maintain regular updation in SAP with respect to freight cost, handling cost, new route creation, change in routes, PO booking with respect to logistic cost etc on a regular basis.
- Generate freight related cost data from SAP, in case any non-accounted freight cost, get the same corrected.

**MIS & Analytics**
- Ensure creation of daily/monthly MIS on freight cost, inter depot cost, transit damages, target v/s dispatch regularly, Secondary movement analysis and publish the same to relevant stakeholders.
- Review the reports f
