3D Generalist

Lenskart is India's biggest and fastest growing eyewear brand, with over 1000+ stores. The brand takes pride in being India's first D2C (Direct to Consumer) company, which designs, creates and sells its products directly to consumers across the country, without any middlemen. Apart from India, Lenskart now has presence in South East Asia, USA and Middle East.

We aim to transform the way people see and experience the world by building eyewear experiences for everyone and every purpose. We’re building Lenskart as a fashion destination for eyewear and are passionate about introducing design-led concepts and innovation that can deliver breakthrough eyewear products and experiences through our multidisciplinary Global Brand Design Studio.

The 3D Experience team works towards creating innovative and high quality visual content through still, videos and AR platforms. Our major role is to make the product look realistic & consistent throughout the consumer journey across all platforms.

**Who are we looking for**

We are looking for a versatile artist who has a broad range of skills in creating 3D models, texturing, animations, and visual effects and also help w/ post production. They should be a team player and confident and creative in their craft/pitch and execution of innovative ideas.

**You will be responsible for**
- Creating detailed models of characters, objects, and environments using specialized software such as Maya, 3DS Max, or Blender. Leverage 3D motion video to tell the product story in different time formats.
- Take the lead on creating Storyboards, and making sure of its execution within the team.
- Animation: Bringing the 3D models to life by animating their movements, expressions, and interactions.
- Compositing: Combining 3D elements with live-action footage or other visual effects to create seamless and believable scenes.
- Problem-solving: Troubleshooting technical issues and finding creative solutions to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other artists and team members, including art directors, animators, and technical directors, to ensure that the final product meets the desired vision and specifications.
- Keeping up-to-date: Staying up-to-date with the latest software tools and techniques, as well as industry trends and developments.
- While working on individual assignments, also need to review the other ongoing tasks among the team mates.

**You will bring**
- A Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Graphic/Communication design or any combination of education, training, and experience related to visual communication
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the design industry in the digital space.
- Strong and diverse artistic and technical background including 2d and 3D (must be strong at both)
- Effective collaboration skills, you’ll be working with art, design and engineering on a daily basis.
- Proven ability in CG techniques, including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, look development, or compositing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to successfully deliver high-quality projects in a timely and efficient manner.
