Job Title: CAM Machine Operator - Jewellery Industry

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Machine Operator to join our jewellery manufacturing team. As a CAM Machine Operator, you will be responsible for utilizing computer-controlled machinery to produce intricate and precise components for our jewellery pieces. Your role will involve programming, setting up, and operating CAM machines to ensure the efficient and accurate production of jewellery parts according to design specifications.

**Responsibilities**:
1. CAM Programming: Develop CAM programs using software such as RhinoCAM, Matrix, or similar, to generate toolpaths for machining jewellery components.

2. Machine Setup: Configure and set up CAM machines including CNC mills, lathes, and engravers, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.

3. Material Preparation: Select appropriate raw materials such as metals or gemstones, and prepare them for machining processes.

4. Machining Operations: Operate CAM machines to execute programmed toolpaths, monitoring the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.

5. Tool Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment, including routine cleaning, sharpening, and replacement of cutting tools as necessary.

6. Quality Control: Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to design specifications, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired results.

7. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or programming to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

8. Documentation: Keep detailed records of machining processes, including program revisions, material usage, and quality control data.

9. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:
1. Experience: Previous experience as a CAM Machine Operator in the jewellery industry or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of EMR software Must.

2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAM programming software and operating CNC machinery is required. Knowledge of jewellery design and manufacturing processes is a plus.

3. Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and accuracy to produce high-quality jewellery components.

4. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and address issues that may arise during machining operations.

5. Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to achieve production goals.

6. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when necessary.

7. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.

8. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certification in CNC machining or jewellery manufacturing is beneficial.
