**Job Summary**:
The Internal Audit Assistant supports the internal audit team in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. This role involves assisting in audit planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and executing internal audit assignments across departments.
- Review financial records, operational processes, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collect, analyze, and document audit evidence and findings.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
- Prepare draft audit reports and support in presenting findings to management.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Maintain organized audit workpapers and documentation.
- Stay updated on auditing standards, industry practices, and regulatory changes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (CA Inter preferred).
- 0-2 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, or finance.
- Basic understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, IDS).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
