Position: Freight Brokers

Introduction: A Freight Broker is a professional who acts as an intermediary between shippers and carriers, facilitating the transportation of goods from one location to another. This role involves negotiating shipping rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently and on time. Freight Brokers play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain industry, contributing to the smooth movement of goods across various transportation modes.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Customer Acquisition:
Identify and prospect potential shippers and carriers to build a network of clients.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the transportation industry.

2. Negotiation:
Negotiate freight rates and terms with shippers and carriers to secure cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions.

Ensure favorable terms for both parties while maximizing profitability.

3. Shipment Coordination:
Coordinate the transportation of goods by selecting appropriate carriers and scheduling shipments.

Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.

4. Documentation:
Prepare and manage the necessary documentation, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs documentation.

Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

5. Market Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and economic factors that may impact freight rates and transportation logistics.

6. Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the transportation process, such as delays, damages, or disruptions.

7. Technology Utilization:
Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

8. Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation, including regulatory compliance, carrier reliability, and unexpected disruptions.

9. Financial Management:
Manage financial aspects of transactions, including billing, invoicing, and ensuring timely payments to carriers.

10. Compliance:
Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Education/Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry practices.

Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

**Experience**:
Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or a related field is advantageous.

Familiarity with sales and customer relationship management is a plus.

**Salary**: Up to ₹300,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
