**Responsibilities**:

- In this role you will be collaborating with IDP’s Data Engineering and Governance, an enterprise capability team and be responsible for:
- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
- Evaluating existing data systems.
- Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
- Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
- Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
- Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
- Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
- Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
- Work with Product owners, Data Scientist, Data Engineers, Data Analyst, Software developers incl. Architects to efficiently build data models inline IDP’s data vision.
- Prepare and maintain training material and SOPs, knowledge base articles and technical documentation.

**Here’s what we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Statistics
- 5 -8 years+ experience of machine-learning in production with evidence of successful delivery and overall, 10+ years IT experience.
- Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
- Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Able to effectively present information, gain feedback and respond to questions from groups of senior leaders, stakeholders, and customers.
- Comfortable with working with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment
- Any Data Modelling certification is desirable.
