**Job Description: Accounts Officer**
**Responsibilities**:
**Financial Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
**Budgeting and Forecasting**:Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for discrepancies.
**Financial Reporting**:Generate financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
**Audit Support**:Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
**Tax Compliance**:Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
**Cash Management**:Manage and reconcile bank statements.
Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improvements.
**Payroll Processing**:Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
Handle employee benefits administration related to finance.
**Financial Analysis**:Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
Provide insights into cost control and revenue enhancement opportunities.
**Vendor and Client Relations**:Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial matters.
Resolve financial discrepancies and disputes.
