**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- A person who has good experience of AIX administration, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting. He will be responsible to perform AIX/Linux migrations from OnPrem to Cloud or Cloud to Cloud etc.
- Discover and Assess AIX workloads in client environment using discovery tools
- Provide technical recommendations to Lead Architects and Project managers
- Prepare detailed plans and runbooks for the AIX technical activities
- Plan and migrate the AIX/Linux workloads using CMM strategic toolPerform configuration and validation of the AIX/Linux workloads after migration as per client requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the various phases of the Cloud Migration
- Work with cross functional teams across service lines and technologies

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Overall 10+ IT years, with minimum 7 years of
- experience in AIX in Client facing architect/consultant roles.
- Should have minimum of 7 years of experience working as an AIX administrator in a large enterprise customer environment.
- Demonstrated experience with AIX builds, NIM server and AIX backup & restore with mksysb backups
- Strong hands-on experience with AIX LVM, AIX tcpip configuration, services and device management
- Sound technical understanding of core AIX, PowerVM virtualization, PowerHA system mirro
- Must have hands-on experience with 1 or more large scale DC migration, DC consolidation or Cloud Migration projects on AIX/Linux

- Any Bachelors degree
- IBM Certified SystemP administrator Redhat Certified System Administrator or Certified Enginee
- IBM Certifications around PowerHA or PowerV
- Cloud certification such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
