The Vice-Chancellor to be appointed should be a distinguished academician, with a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University system or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization.

The Vice-Chancellor shall exercise general control over the affairs of the University and shall be responsible for due maintenance of discipline in the University.

The Vice-Chancellor shall convene meetings of the Board, the Academic Council, Research Council and Extension Education Council.

The Vice-Chancellor shall be responsible for the proper administration of the affairs of the University and for a close coordination and integration of teaching, research and extension education.

**Salary**: ₹100,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
