We are the leading provider of Mathematics Worksheets in the UK, and our membership base has grown rapidly in recent years - we now have over 50,000 members across the world. We also provide our resources to schools in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

We are passionate about developing high-quality worksheets and teaching resources. We seek to save teachers and parents planning time by providing fun, engaging, and attractively designed worksheets for students to practice and improve their mathematics skills.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

If you love the Ahrefs blog, content creation, and sweat every time Google rolls out an update; you’re an SEO enthusiast Cazoom Maths provides high quality education resources and we are seeking an SEO content editor to help improve Cazoom’s organic search rankings within the UK and US markets.

This will be a full time role, initially as a six month contract (with a strong likelihood that this will be renewed). The role is 100% remote, and we do not have core working hours - we offer our team the chance to work when best suits their personal schedule.

**The SEO content writer will**:

- Create and optimise website content. You will spend most of your day writing SEO optimised content for Cazoom’s mathematics resource pages, addressing the needs of teachers, parents and tutors in the UK and the US. We are open to you using AI tools to assist in the content creation process.
- You will also edit existing on-site copy and headers to target high-value search terms with the aim of improving our search engine rankings.
- Blog content: You will also be asked to create long form articles for the Cazoom, with the aim of driving relevant organic traffic to our website.
- Keyword research. Using SEO tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush to conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Monitor and report on the performance of content, including keyword rankings and traffic metrics.
- 1+ years of experience in SEO and content writing
- Exceptional English copywriting skills with professional or freelance experience to demonstrate this
- Proficiency in SEO tools, such as Ahrefs, Surfer SEO and google analytics
- Experience with copywriting tools such as grammarly, ChatGTP etc
- Experience with keyword research and optimization.
- Experience with CMS systems, such as WordPress, is a plus
- Have a hard work ethic, be passionate, driven and love what you do
- Be organised, able to work to deadlines, and manage your time effectively
- Comfortable working in a 100% remote environment
- Possess access to a high-speed, reliable internet connection with at least 6mb download and 1mb upload speeds. We advise using speedtest.netfor verification.
- An interest in mathematics is a plus, but it is not a requirement

Given this is a fully remote role, you will need to ensure you have a reliable internet connection, a good working environment, and appropriate computer (or laptop) equipment. We will provide access to all the software you need to be successful in the role.
