**Job Summary**:
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, train, and supervise a team of fabricators, welders, and machine operators. Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of productivity and skill development.
- **Production Planning & Scheduling**: Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of fabricated products. Coordinate with other departments (engineering, procurement, etc.) to ensure materials are available and that production goals are met.
- **Fabrication Process Management**: Oversee daily fabrication activities, including welding, cutting, grinding, assembly, and machining. Ensure that all fabrication work is carried out according to engineering specifications and project requirements.
- **Quality Control & Assurance**: Monitor and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure fabricated products meet both company standards and customer specifications. Conduct inspections and coordinate testing procedures as necessary.
- **Equipment Maintenance & Safety**: Ensure that fabrication equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance. Address any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns promptly. Enforce a strict safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety standards.
- **Material Management**: Coordinate with inventory control and procurement to ensure an adequate supply of materials and components needed for fabrication. Supervise the proper storage and handling of materials.
- **Problem Solving & Troubleshooting**: Identify issues or obstacles in the fabrication process and implement corrective actions to maintain production flow. Resolve technical and process-related challenges promptly to minimize downtime.
- **Process Improvement**: Continuously look for ways to improve fabrication processes, reduce waste, enhance productivity, and implement best practices. Use lean manufacturing techniques and other strategies to optimize efficiency.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, production logs, quality checks, and maintenance reports. Provide regular updates and reports to management on department performance and progress.
## **Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical degree, diploma, or certification in welding, fabrication, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, and machining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with various fabrication techniques, including welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.), cutting, bending, and assembly.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery (e.g., press brakes, shears, CNC machines, welding equipment, etc.).
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- **Technical Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency with basic computer software (Word, Excel) and ERP or manufacturing management software.
- **Problem Solving & Troubleshooting**: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly and effectively.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on quality and precision in all aspects of fabrication work.
- **Safety Knowledge**: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices in a fabrication environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
