**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Develop students’ literacy skills through phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and creative writing.
- Use storytelling, role-play, group reading, and interactive activities to encourage language development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and participation.
- Regularly assess and monitor students’ progress through classwork, assignments, and formal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents during meetings and through reports.
- Support differentiated instruction to accommodate various learning needs and abilities.
- Organize and participate in school events, language week celebrations, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline and ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, assessments, and co-curricular projects.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development programs, and parent-teacher conferences.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English / Education or relevant field (B.Ed. preferred).
- Prior teaching experience in primary grades (1 to 5) is an advantage.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Familiarity with phonics, storytelling techniques, and interactive learning methods.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude toward children.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital tools into teaching.
