**Job Summary**:
**Unicent School, Bowrampet Campus**, is looking for a qualified and empathetic **Student Counselor** with a strong background in **Psychology** to support the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students. The counselor will play a vital role in creating a nurturing school environment where students feel heard, understood, and empowered to thrive.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students facing emotional, behavioral, academic, or social challenges.
- Identify students in need of psychological support and create tailored intervention plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation of student cases and interactions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student development and well-being.
- Facilitate workshops on topics such as stress management, bullying, peer relationships, emotional intelligence, exam anxiety, and time management.
- Support the implementation of school-wide mental health and wellness programs.
- Assist in early identification of learning difficulties and recommend referrals for assessments or external help if needed.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and empathetic school culture.
- Act as a liaison between students, families, and external professionals when necessary.
- Stay up to date with current practices and developments in school psychology and child development.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Clinical Psychology or related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
- Sound knowledge of child and adolescent development, behavioral issues, and psychological interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in English and local languages (preferred).

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Certification in counseling/child psychology is a plus.
- Experience in conducting mental health awareness sessions for students, staff, or parents.
- Open-minded, approachable, and culturally sensitive.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and crisis intervention.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
