The Assistant Professor will be responsible for the following duties:

- Teach courses in the MCA program, including lectures, labs, and tutorials.
- Develop and update course content, materials, and assessments in accordance with UGC guidelines.
- Conduct research in computer science and information technology fields, including publishing articles in scholarly journals and presenting research at academic conferences.
- Participate in departmental and university-level academic activities, including curriculum development, student advising, and program administration.
- Supervise and mentor students in their research projects, dissertations, and theses thereby enabling them to achieve their academic goals.
- Engage in outreach activities, including promoting the MCA program, collaborating with industry partners, and participating in community events.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in computer science and information technology fields, and integrate new knowledge into teaching and research activities.
- Organize and participate in professional development activities, including attending workshops, seminars, and conferences related to teaching and research.
- Conduct examinations and evaluation of the students.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement interdisciplinary courses.
- Perform administrative duties such as maintaining academic records, advising students, and serving on academic committees.

**Requirements**:

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a UGC recognized university.
- A minimum of 55% marks at the Master's level (preferably M.Sc (IT)/MCA) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- **A strong background in any one of the following: Advanced JAVA, Dot Net (ASP.Net/ C#), Python/Django/Flask, Android/Flutter/React Native, Angular/JavaScript/React Node/ MongoDB.**:

- Good academic record and research aptitude, as evidenced by research publications in UGC approved journals.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching and research experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in a UGC recognized institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge/proficiency in programming languages, database management, and software development tools.
- Experience in curriculum development and program administration is an asset.
