Job Title: HIL Verification & Plant Model Engineer ( T8)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- 5-6 Years of experience in validating propulsion control software functions in HIL environment (DSPACE/ Vector)
- Hardware in Loop (HIL) system configuration for various SW variants
- Plant modelling development for Powertrain
- Experience in performance analysis for electrical and thermal functions
- Understand system/SW level requirements and implement relevant system test cases
- Develop Test scenarios for Software components and Systems, based on functional requirements.
- Setting up the HIL system with HW and SW components and commissioning
- Field issue analysis and de-bugging (system knowledge and good coding skills needed)
- Interaction with supplier, plant and project responsible stake holders
- Develop Test scenarios for Software components and Systems, based on functional requirements.
- Define Test strategy and develop tools and scripts to improve the efficiency of software Testing process.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Experience in development of physical and mathematical modelling of (e)Powertrain Systems in Matlab and Simulink.
- Experience on setting up of dSpace HIL environment.
- HIL (Hardware In Loop) bench commissioning with Loads, Actuators and Sensors.
- Ability to comprehend the system level architecture of set of ECUs and experience with ECU communication protocols like CAN, LIN, FlexRay is added advantage
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience handling Simulink/Target link models is added advantage
- Simulation methodologies: Understanding of MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL simulation methodologies
- Proficient in Scripting languages ( Python, M-Scripting, CAPL Scripting)
- Good Knowledge in embedded C.
- Hardware knowledge: Understanding of the test environment's hardware, including I/O Modelling, signal conditioning, and HiL simulator architectures
- Good understanding in Manual and Automation testing.
- Ability to debug hardware issues and automate the requirement.
- Preparation and Presentation of detailed analysis and implementation
- Willingness to learn: A willingness to learn new tools and modeling methods
