Store Officer in Garments Manufacturing Company

Job Summary:
The Store Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store department in a garments manufacturing setting. They are tasked with managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining proper documentation of all transactions. The Store Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient store operations to support the manufacturing process and meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise the receiving, storing, and issuing of materials and products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
- Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely procurement of materials as per production requirements.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain the layout of the store to optimize space and facilitate easy access to materials.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate requisitions for replenishment as needed.
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, and ensure compliance with purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce proper storage practices to ensure the safety and integrity of materials.
- Supervise store staff and provide training as needed.
- Generate reports on inventory status, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the store department.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory management software or systems, if applicable.

**Salary**: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
