**Role Description**

You will work in the Infrastructure Finance team. The team are responsible for managing, reporting, annual planning, re-statement and challenging costs for all Infrastructure functions in bank partnering with the business to achieve strategic financial targets and outcomes. The role will be aligned to a Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) minus one divisions.

You will be primarily responsible for managing financials for a tech division including functions like month-end compilation, prediction, commentary, forecasting, quarterly software Balance Sheet substantiation and budgeting, requiring a strong knowledge of key finance processes and stakeholder management skills.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Partnership with Tech CIOs to make the cost transparent and help to meet their cost targets
- Financial Analysis - Financial Accounting month-end processes including forecasts, review of normalization and cost analysis, monitoring aged accruals and producing monthly reporting
- Planning - working with the business to compile future year demand; produce exit rate prediction, compile growth expectations/requests
- Balance Sheet substantiation - performing quarterly reviews of Software Net Book Values, Application Useful Economic Life and Impairment analysis and attestation
- Restructure and Restatement - devise cost center structure with business input; account for headcount moves, confirm and calculate where necessary plan/actuals transfer values to and from the business, approve transfer in conjunction with business.
- Coordination with multiple stakeholders including CIO, COOs, Central Finance & CoEs
- Business Case - Build in collaboration with the business and challenge to ensure commercially sound cases are presented, validated and subsequently tracked
- Represent Finance in Tech leadership forums

**Your skills and experience**
- Professionally qualified person (ACA or Tier I MBA) with 7-10 years of post-qualification experience
- Management of high performing teams in a fast moving environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills up to CIO level with an ability to develop and maintain effective relationships internally and externally
- Strong knowledge of Month end financial processes, Financial Analysis and Budgeting processes with experience ideally gained from within Financial Services; exposure to IT Silo is preferable
- Ideally degree educated university coupled with a related accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial/reporting tools such as DataCore would be advantageous
