Dental Assistant/Receptionist

**We are seeking a highly organized and personable individual to join our friendly dental team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Front Desk**:

- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm or reschedule appointments as needed.
- Assist patients with filling out paperwork and updating their information.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Collect co-payments and process payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- **Dental Assisting**:

- Assist the dentist with chairside procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take X-rays (if certified).
- Ensure patient comfort and answer their questions during procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Stock dental supplies and keep the treatment area organized.
- Maintain patient dental charts and records.
- May perform additional duties as assigned by the dentist.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in dental software a plus.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures preferred.
- Dental assisting certification a plus
