**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement an engaging English curriculum that aligns with CBSE/ICSE/State Board standards and promotes language proficiency.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and literary analysis to students in Grades 6 to 10.
- Introduce students to a diverse range of literary genres, including poetry, prose, drama, and fiction, encouraging critical thinking and discussion.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including group work, discussions, and multimedia resources, to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, essays, projects, and examinations, providing timely feedback for improvement.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, elocutions, and other language-related extracurricular activities to enhance their communication skills.
- Promote a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, creativity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Support students in developing strong public speaking and presentation skills, essential for academic and personal success.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in English education, literature, and language teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute school events such as literary festivals, reading weeks, and drama productions.
- Provide additional support to students who need help with English language skills, including remedial classes and personalized instruction.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in English at the middle school level.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire students to appreciate literature and improve their language skills.
- Creativity in designing engaging lessons and activities that make learning enjoyable and effective.
- Familiarity with educational technology, including digital resources and learning management systems.
- Dedication to professional development and continuous learning.
