**Job Summary**:
The Playgroup Teacher is responsible for the educational, social, and emotional development of children in the playgroup. This role involves creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. The teacher will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster creativity, physical development, and foundational learning skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English.
- Montessori Training Certificate required(COMPULSORY)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Planning and Implementation**:

- Design and implement a play-based curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Plan daily activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Introduce basic concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through fun and engaging activities.
- Foster creativity and imagination through arts, crafts, music, and storytelling.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment that supports the well-being of each child.
- Supervise and guide children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and age-appropriate discipline techniques.
- Encourage social interaction and cooperative play among children.
- **Child Development and Observation**:

- Observe and assess the developmental progress of each child, identifying their strengths and areas for growth.
- Provide individualized support to children, helping them reach developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress and share observations with parents during regular meetings.
- **Parent Communication and Engagement**:

- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss each child’s development and address any questions or issues.
- Encourage parental involvement in the classroom and organize events that foster a strong home-school connection.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Ensure that the classroom environment meets all health and safety regulations.
- Teach children basic hygiene practices, such as handwashing and proper bathroom habits.
- Administer first aid if necessary and report any accidents or injuries according to school policies.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development.
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and staff meetings as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and strategies for improving the playgroup program.
