**EbizON** is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader/Editor to join our team** **in** Dehradun office. **The role primarily involves reviewing and correcting written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines.**:** Responsibilities**:

- Carefully review written documents, including articles, blogs, reports, and other materials, to identify and correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors.
- Verify the consistency and coherence of content, ensuring it flows smoothly and maintains a consistent tone and style.
- Ensure formatting, numbering, headings, and other elements are properly applied and consistent throughout the document.
- Cross-check references, citations, and sources for accuracy and completeness
- Flag any potential legal or ethical concerns, such as plagiarism, AI content or factual inaccuracies.
- Collaborate with writers and content creators to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
- Proficiency in using proofreading and editing tools, such as style guides, dictionaries, and grammar-checking software.
- Prior experience in proofreading, editing, or a related field is preferred.
- A degree in English, journalism, communication, or a related field is a plus.
