Vertica Admin

Vertica architecture(Hybrid architecture ROS/WOS ) and MPP knowledge
- Vertica Installation,Configuration,Upgrade and expansion
- Backup and recovery, Import export and copy cluster
- Performance tuning in vertica which include creation/modification of projection, partitioning ,Swapping
- Profile Vertica hardware performance to identify bottlenecks in CPU,Memory and Disk IO and network capacity
- Epochs, K-safety,Buddy projections, Aggregate,TOP-K, Expression with projections
- Fixing AHM lags, Node recovery and high catalog sizes
- Identifying slow queries and fixing them.
- Work with architects and analyst to develop carefully tunes data model and queries/projections
- Creating users ,roles, schema as per the standard setup in our organization.
- Knowledge of resource pool and good experience required to tune resource pool parameter for queries and ETL Jobs
- Lead RCA for incident coming in Vertica clusters
- Vertica Optimizer knowledge
- Troubleshooting Delete vector issue and ROS pushback
- Different type of data loading (Copy Auto/Direct/Trickle)
- SQL writing is mandatory
- Bash/Python scripting for Vertica monitoring and management

Very good knowledge required in Linux and networking to optimize OS, hardware and networking to improve and fixing Vertica environment

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
