Name Executive - Accounts Receivables
Department - SSC
Location - Seawoods Office, Navi Mumbai
Position reports to Team Lead, Accounts Receivables

Key Responsibilities
- Obtain proper approval, check due/overdue status, and update collection information before releasing containers/BL.
- Submit invoices/PODs to customers, proactively resolve queries, and coordinate with departments for efficient payment and collection processes.
- Ensure prompt follow-up and collection of due/overdue payments.
- Circulate accurate weekly/monthly outstanding reports to the business and actively participate in review calls.
- Provide support to the GL team in reconciling open items during bank reconciliation.
- Regularly follow up with customers for TDS certificates and perform quarterly reconciliations.
- Conduct timely customer reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Effectively manage the full and final settlement of customer accounts.
- Perform quarterly customer balance confirmations and ensure consistent debt collection for internal and external audits.
- Promptly notify the business about dishonored cheques, monitor subsequent collections, and circulate monthly reports.
- Handle disputed accounts to expedite pending collections and align payments with agreed terms.
- Efficiently manage customer master blocking and unblocking in cases of cheque dishonor, overdue outstanding, or inactive status.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce
- Awareness of GST, Income Tax & basic accounting concepts.
- 4-8 years’ experience of accounting activities
- Awareness of statutory regulations relating to Receivables
