**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development and Instruction**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive music curriculum and lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Teach a variety of musical concepts, including music theory, history, composition, performance techniques, and appreciation, to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Provide instruction on a range of musical instruments, vocal techniques, and ensemble skills, depending on students' interests and proficiency levels.
- **Rehearsals and Performances**:

- Organize and lead rehearsals for various musical ensembles, such as choirs, bands, orchestras, and jazz ensembles.
- Coordinate and prepare students for public performances, concerts, competitions, and other musical events both within the school and in the community.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and musicianship skills among ensemble members, and provide constructive feedback to support their musical growth and development.
- **Individualized Instruction**:

- Provide individualized instruction and support to students who are learning to play musical instruments or develop their vocal abilities.
- Assess students' musical skills, strengths, and areas for improvement, and tailor instruction to meet their individual learning needs and goals.
- Offer guidance and encouragement to help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their full potential as musicians.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and active engagement in music learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all students during rehearsals, performances, and other musical activities.
- Model and reinforce appropriate behavior, etiquette, and rehearsal protocols for ensemble members.
- **Professional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with colleagues in the music department and across disciplines to align curriculum, share instructional resources, and integrate music across the curriculum.
- Participate in department meetings, professional learning communities, and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching effectiveness, stay current with advancements in music education, and support student achievement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress, share resources for supporting music learning at home, and address any concerns or questions.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and music instruction strategies.
- Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and research in music education, and incorporate new ideas and approaches into teaching practice.
- Reflect on teaching practices, student outcomes, and feedback from colleagues and students to identify areas for growth and continuous improvement.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
