Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end inventory management of ferrous and non-ferrous raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) and MSL (Minimum Stock Level) standards.

- Implement and monitor inventory control systems to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
- Develop procurement strategies for metals such as steel, iron, aluminum, copper, brass, and relevant alloys.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to strengthen supply base and improve cost, quality, and delivery.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality and pricing standards.
- Coordinate with production planning and operations to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain KPIs - stock turnover, service level, lead times, and cost efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams for continuous process improvement and cost optimization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and supplier evaluations to ensure continuity of supply.

Experience: 8-12 years in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in metals, manufacturing, or engineering industries.

Specialization: Strong knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals (steel, iron, aluminum, copper, brass, etc.)

Vendor Development: Proven experience in new vendor identification, evaluation, and onboarding.

Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), advanced Excel, and inventory planning tools.

Knowledge: Sound understanding of MOQ, MSL, EOQ, safety stock, lead time, and supply risk analysis.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Management (MBA preferred).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, negotiation skills, and attention to detail. Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
