As an Academic Advisor for our institution specializing in IELTS, OET, language teaching, and abroad education consultancy, you will play a crucial role in guiding and assisting students through their academic journey. Your expertise will help students achieve their language proficiency goals and navigate the process of pursuing higher education opportunities abroad. You will provide personalized guidance, support, and information to ensure students' success in language exams and their educational endeavors.

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct one-on-one consultations with students to understand their language proficiency goals, academic aspirations, and career objectives.

Assess students' current language skills and recommend appropriate courses, study plans, and strategies to improve their performance in IELTS, OET, and other language exams.

Assist students in selecting suitable study destinations based on their preferences, academic strengths, and career goals.

Stay up-to-date with changes in language exam formats, admission requirements, and visa regulations for various countries.

Collaborate with language instructors to monitor students' progress, identify areas of improvement, and customize study plans accordingly.

Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and webinars to provide students with valuable information about language exams, study abroad opportunities, and related topics.

Maintain accurate and updated records of students' academic progress, counseling sessions, and communication for future reference.

Foster positive relationships with educational institutions, language testing centers, and relevant stakeholders to enhance students' access to resources and opportunities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree ; Master's degree preferred.

Strong understanding of IELTS, OET, and other language exams, including scoring criteria and test formats.

Experience in language teaching and exam preparation, preferably with a background in IELTS or OET coaching.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear guidance and information to students.

Customer-centric approach with a genuine desire to help students succeed academically and achieve their career goals.

Proficient in using educational and communication technologies for virtual counseling and remote assistance.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Cultural awareness and sensitivity to effectively interact with a diverse student population.

Prior experience in academic advising, counseling, or education consultancy is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
