**Job Desciption -**:

- Prepare and position patients for invasive heart procedures.
- Monitor gauges, recorder and video screens of computer system during imaging of cardiovascular system.
- Conduct cardiovascular tests to record patients' cardiac activity using specialized electronic test equipment, recording devices and laboratory instruments.
- Prepare reports of diagnostic procedures for interpretation by physician to and from procedure room
- Ensures medical records are accurate and complete.
- Maintains the integrity of medical records and documents in real time
- Ensures patient billing is accurate and timely by reviewing all procedures, documenting patient equipment charges.
- Assists with maintaining environmental integrity and aesthetics. Ensures all areas are clean, sanitary and safe on a daily basis. Ensures all equipment and instruments are in proper working condition by inspecting equipment on a daily basis before and after procedures
- Assists with disposal of hazardous waste materials, dirty linen and rugs
- Prepares, organizes, and efficiently utilizes supplies and equipment to prevent wastage
- Ensures effective communication with Physicians and Staff
- Works with Physicians and staff to ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are on hand
- Addresses Physician concerns in areas of responsibility
- May assist in the development and revision of policies and procedures related to radiography to ensure continuous process improvement
- Assists in training and orienting new employees on the equipment
- Assists with inventory ordering of supplies and re-stocking supplies
- Complies with HIPAA policies and standards in regards to patient confidentiality
- Performs other duties as assigned
