**Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Installing Hadoop in Linux environment.
- Deployment in a Hadoop cluster and its maintenance.
- Health check of a Hadoop cluster monitoring whether it is up and running all the time.
- Knowledge of design principles and fundamentals of architecture.
- Implementing and administering Hadoop infrastructure on an ongoing basis.
- Software installation and its configuration.
- Backup and recovery operation of Database.
- Checking database connectivity and its security measurements.
- Performance monitoring and fine tuning on actual basis.
- Installing patches and upgrading software as and when needed.
- A Hadoop administrator loads a large volume of data.
- Understanding of performance engineering.
- Knowledge of quality processes and estimation techniques.
- Basic understanding of project domain.
- Ability to translate functional / nonfunctional requirements to systems requirements.
- Ability to design and code complex programs.
- Ability to write test cases and scenarios based on the specifications.
- Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.

**Required Skills**:

- Experience in Hadoop Administration working in production support projects.
- Experience in Installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring Hadoop clusters and below components Hive, Spark, etc.
- Experience in Installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring of below Analytical tools and integrating with Hadoop and Python.
- Very good at Job level troubleshooting.
- Experience and Strong Knowledge of Azure, (Must).
