The VGP Group presents VGP Heritage; a lush and sprawling set of unique indoor-outdoor venues capable of serving between 50-1000 pax, surrounding the inimitable Beach Terrace.

**Job Summary**:
As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest service while handling financial transactions at our resort. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing payments, providing information to guests, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your friendly and professional demeanor will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
**Cash Handling**:Accurately handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
Count and verify cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change to guests.

**Guest Interaction**:Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Provide information about resort amenities, activities, and promotions.
Address guest inquiries and concerns in a polite and efficient manner.

**Check-in and Check-out**: Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process.
Verify reservations and confirm guest details.
Assign room keys and provide necessary information.

**Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and daily revenue.
Prepare and balance daily cash reports.
Complete necessary paperwork and data entry.

**Security and Compliance**: Follow security procedures to prevent theft or fraud.
Adhere to all resort policies and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with local and state regulations related to cash handling and guest privacy.

**Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with other resort departments to provide exceptional service.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, reservations, and management teams.

**Cashier Equipment**: Operate and maintain cashier equipment such as cash registers and credit card machines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and payment processing.
- Friendly and approachable personality with a commitment to exceptional guest service.

The Location is adjascent to the VGP Golden Beach Resort, ECR, Injambakkam, Chennai.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
