**Summary of the Role**:
Operate & maintain all the Electrical installations, to support manufacturing activities & site operation during shift.

**Responsibilities / Accountabilities**:

- Supervise non-routine activity & safe operation.
- Supervise electrical operation to avoid any plant interruption.
- Supervise contractor’s work, Quality & safety performance.
- Take appropriate decision/communicate in case of any deviations in power consumption, maintenance, EHS, Quality aspects & any abnormality in Electrical equipment.
- Operate & maintain electrical installations, Fire Alarm systems, and plant equipment etc. as per established SOPs.
- Record daily energy reading & log sheets of equipment in pre-defined formats.
- Field troubleshooting & visual inspection to detect defects or malfunctions & attend breakdowns.
- Carry out PM/ predictive maintenance for Electrical equipment and installations as per schedule.
- Good housekeeping of electrical installations.
- ISO documentation for all Electrical equipment.
- Record and maintain Store inventory with required Spare and Consumable items.

**Education / Certification**:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in chemical and specialty chemical plants

**Experience and Skills**:

- Knowledge and working experience of HT/LT Electrical installations, operations & maintenance of these installations under guidance of department procedures.
- Knowledge of handling 66KV / 11KV switchyard, ACB, VCB, Protective relays, PCC, distribution system, Transformers, HT /LT Motors, APFC, Operation and maintenance of DG sets, Battery, Chargers, Variable Frequency Drives, Simocode, transmission line etc.
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation and automation systems will be added advantage.
- Knowledge to conditioning and monitoring of electrical equipment.
- Computer skills: MS Office & SAP
- Knowledge and communication skills in English.
