Electrician - Siemens

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Electrical Maintenance**: Perform scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems in the steel plant.
- **Siemens & ABB VFD Maintenance**: Maintain and troubleshoot Siemens and ABB VFD systems, ensuring operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
- **Preventive Maintenance**: Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize breakdowns.
- **System Upgrades & Installations**: Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment, upgrades, and modifications to existing systems in line with plant requirements.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical assistance and support to other maintenance teams when required.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment issues, and repairs performed.
- **Troubleshooting**: Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including faults in VFDs, motors, circuits, and control panels.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, such as mechanical and automation teams, to ensure integrated solutions for plant maintenance.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma/ ITI/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- **Experience**:

- 2-5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience, particularly in a steel plant or heavy industrial environment.
- Proven experience with Siemens and ABB Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- **Skills & Knowledge**:

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical systems and equipment.
- In-depth understanding of electrical circuits, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
- Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and automation systems (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices in an industrial environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
